About Me
I'm Zarah Choudhary, an award-recognised business and financial journalist based in London. I currently report for Asset Servicing Times, where I cover global finance, market infrastructure, regulation, artificial intelligence and financial technology.
My work spans breaking news, investigations, long-form features and interviews with senior executives, policymakers and industry leaders. Previously, I reported on employment, HR and business policy for The Intermediary and Workplace Journal.
Before entering professional journalism, I founded and served as Editor-in-Chief of The Leopard, Goldsmiths' student newspaper, leading a newsroom of more than 60 contributors. My work has been recognised with the State Street UK Institutional Press Awards Best Newcomer Runner-Up, as well as Goldsmiths Students' Union's Media Personality of the Year and two Media Group of the Year awards.
I'm particularly interested in how journalism can make complex financial, regulatory and technological developments accessible to wider audiences.
